This program provides a comprehensive orientation, challenging rotations, practical experience, and an opportunity for graduate education at a top engineering institution. These opportunities build a solid foundation for engineering excellence and accelerated career development. This rotational program allows participants to work with WERLD graduates and other successful engineers and managers to build skills and drive innovation and success within our company. Additionally, participants are highly encouraged to choose an international rotation to gain exposure to global business and product development. International locations include:
TimelineThe program lasts two years with multiple six- or 12-month rotations completed during this time. Upon successful completion of the program, WERLD graduates will enter advanced full-time professional engineering positions. Select graduates will have the opportunity to relocate and complete a master’s degree in their related field at a leading university. These graduates will spend one year completing coursework before returning to Whirlpool and their full-time engineering position. During their time at school, full tuition and salary are paid for by Whirlpool. Selection is based on program performance and results. RequirementsTo be considered for the WERLD program, candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field, particularly mechanical, electrical, computer or chemical engineering. Additionally, we seek individuals with superior academic performance, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. |
