The Finance Leadership Development Program is geared for exceptional global finance talent and for the fast-track development of future Whirlpool finance leaders. Participants develop a working knowledge of key business operations and build comprehensive technical and financial competencies within an industry-leading global enterprise. FLDP talent also accelerates the company’s global strategy and provides leadership for successfully driving extraordinary business performance and results.

Rotations

Participants gain practical experience and expand their functional knowledge and skills while completing assignments in 2 to 3 challenging rotations. These rotations are available in the following areas:

• Corporate Accounting
• Brand Management
• Sales Operations
• Supply Chain
• Global Product Development
• Manufacturing
• Treasury
• Internal Audit

Each rotation is a career-building platform that provides training and development in technical competencies, leadership skills, and business management. Additionally, senior leaders serve as mentors, providing professional development and networking opportunities throughout the program.

Timeline

The program is customized to meet the needs and interests of each individual participant. Generally, rotational assignments are 12-18 months in length and participants are placed in a key functional manager role within three years.

Requirements

• B.S. in Finance or Accounting
• Distinctive record of leadership
• Strong internship experience
