A World of Opportunity in Human Resources at Whirlpool

 

Whirlpool’s Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is a four-year rotational development program that aggressively develops HR talent for key leadership positions.

After graduation from the program you will have:

  • Completed three challenging job assignments, 12 to 18 months each, that have provided you valuable work experience
  • Experienced a global assignment, such as a foreign posting, working on a global project or supporting an international client group
  • Been mentored by a key leader in the organization
  • Participated in a formal training and development curriculum
  • Achieved professional certifications (PHR certification and Whirlpool’s Master Assessor certification)

Rotations

The three 12 to 18 month assignments are tailored to meet the career interests of participants. The rotations include an HR Generalist role, an HR Specialist role (i.e. Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HR Systems, Organizational Development), and a third rotation that could be a cross-functional rotation, project assignment or additional specialist or generalist assignment.

The program consists of three 12 to 18 month assignments which are tailored to meet the career interests of participants.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates for this elite program with:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources or a MBA with a concentration in HR
  • A history of delivering extraordinary work performance and results
  • Values and character consistent with working in a socially responsible company
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems and drive change
  • Capability to attract, develop, retain and engage great talent in a global and diverse organization
