A World of Opportunity in Sales at WhirlpoolThe Real Whirled program chooses eight recent graduates to live together for seven weeks in a house filled with Whirlpool appliances. Participants are immersed in Whirlpool products and values by going through an intensive education program to learn about our brands, products and sales techniques. Participants also go through exercises in sales and merchandising strategies, presentation skills, and building effective relationships. After this seven-week developmental training you will be assigned to one of our many sales regions in the continental U.S. to begin your role as a Market Brand Representative (MBR). As an MBR you will serve as the eyes and ears of Whirlpool, calling on our trade customers and educating their sales associates on the benefits of Whirlpool products. You will also be responsible for gathering customer and competitive intelligence from the sales force in order to help improve Whirlpool’s existing products and strategies. In the field, training continues through weekly conference calls, special sessions to announce product changes and on-line product and skills learning. Whirlpool is committed to providing you with the training and development needed to be successful as an MBR and to grow through taking on additional roles and responsibilities within our Sales organization. Career DevelopmentBased on your achievement, you'll be able to relocate to another Whirlpool Sales region within 24 months. There is no limit to how far you can go at Whirlpool. All promotions and rewards depend on you and your successes. Successful Sales representatives are dynamic, confident and competitive, and always strive to push the envelope each and every day. TimelineThe program lasts seven weeks. Upon completion participants are given a full-time assignment. They will have the opportunity for reassignment within 24 months. RequirementsTo be considered for the Real Whirled program, candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree and have a demonstrated interest in sales. |
