A World of Opportunity in Supply Chain at Whirlpool

 

The Global Supply Chain Leadership Development Program (GSCLDP) provides an opportunity for college graduates to become future leaders in Whirlpool Corporation's Global Supply Chain organization. It is a program that takes the best and brightest from college campuses to pursue fast paced roles that build capability and drive change within the business. Individuals in this program operate at a faster pace and execute at a greater level than peers not within the program.

The program provides development opportunities within Whirlpool in the form of an orientation program, formal and informal training, division trips, exposure to functional and cross-functional senior leadership, mentoring program, international team work, as well as a potential for international projects and assignments.

Rotations

The program is divided into three tracks, each with a variety of assignments that allow participants to build a core foundation that will enable them to progress within the organization:

Logistics Specialist Track
Strategy & Solutions Analyst
International Analyst
Supply Chain Analyst at Regional Distribution Center
Trade Partner Collaboration Analyst
Demand Analyst
Inventory Analyst at either Local or Factory Distribution Center
Deployment Analyst

Procurement Specialist Track
Indirect Buyer – Logistics or Marketing
Direct Buyer – Fabric Care, Dish or Refrigeration
Commodity Analyst – Resin, Packaging or Steel

Supply Chain Specialist Track
Logistics – Regional Fulfillment Analyst, International Analyst or Demand Analyst
Manufacturing – Quality Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst or Production Supervisor
Procurement – Buyer, Sourcing Specialist or Raw Materials Analyst

Timeline

Regardless of which track you choose, the program lasts three years with three 12-month rotations.

Requirements

To be considered for GSCLDP, candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics. We look for individuals with superior academic performance, strong leadership and excellent communication skills
