Cook for the Cure®, Presented by KitchenAid

When Whirlpool develops a new product, the end goal is to improve customers’ quality of life. That same goal led us to join the fight against breast cancer in the hope of improving the lives of those afflicted with this terrible disease.

Cook for the Cure®, Presented by KitchenAid, was created in 2001 to give those with a passion for cooking a way to support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the fight against breast cancer. To date, it has raised almost $4 million through donation-with-purchase programs, special fundraising events, auctions, and grassroots initiatives.

Thanks to the partnership between KitchenAid and the Komen Foundation, there are several ways to support the fight against breast cancer and help the over two million women living in the United States who have been diagnosed with the disease:

Pink Appliance Purchase
KitchenAid will donate to the Komen Foundation for the sale of each KitchenAid® pink appliance to a retailer.

Host a Cook for the Cure Fundraising Party
Guests attending the party are asked to make a donation to the Komen Foundation.
