The goal of the Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is to develop future HR leaders who have a well-rounded understanding of the HR function through robust experiences with breadth, depth and leadership, and through mentorship and development.
The HRLDP internship offers individuals pursuing a Masters in HR or MBA the opportunity to gain valuable experience in one of our HR Communities of Expertise, within our HR Operations team, or supporting a direct business unit.
For our full time participants, you will have the opportunity to build off of your past work experiences by creating compelling strategies and driving differentiated results throughout your three-year rotational program.
Background and experience
- Progress in Masters in Human Resources, Industrial and Labor Relations or Business Administration
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0
- Demonstrated experience with solving difficult and complex problems
- Demonstrated experience leveraging data to drive decision making

Broad functional development
Through three rotations, you will gain exposure to Whirlpool Corporation’s HR functions, and then can graduate into Business HR, HR Operations or our Communities of Expertise.
Looking to work internationally or work on a project that spans multiple regions? With either an expat assignment or Global scope role built into the structure, each participant will have an opportunity to experience Whirlpool Corp. across the globe!
