Awards and Recognition
Launched by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme (the Scheme) aims to foster strategic partnerships between the business and social services sectors to promote good corporate citizenship and create a more inclusive society. Whirlpool Hong Kong are working together to develop 30 community projects focusing on the needs of the community within 14 years. This is an indication that our organisations recognise the concept of corporate social responsibility, and that more of them have been putting efforts towards developing a sustainable society.
Launched by Labour Department of the government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region every 2 years. Good Employer Charter 2018 & 2019 is indicated Whirlpool, an employer to adopt employee-oriented and progressive good human resource management practices, thereby cultivating a good human resource management culture in the workplace.
The Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (the HKAEE) and Hong Kong Green Organisation Certification (HKGOC) are led by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) alongside the Environmental Protection Department and in conjunction with nine organisations. Whirlpool HK shows the commitment of society for reaching excellence in environmental performance.
